2 Handed Weapons are heavy weapons that take both hand slots in order to use. The only games that the number of hands a weapon requires is relevant are Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for Alucard and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair for Alucard and Soma.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night[]
There are two primary types of two-handed weapons in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Great Swords are heavy, large, and wide swords with slow, broad, and powerful swings which slightly attack overhead. Katanas are Japanese swords that are very versatile. A Tonfa is held in each hand (erroneously referred to as "Nunchaku" in the North American localization of the game), which can do blunt damage. The Sega Saturn version of the game also included the unique two-handed Alucard Spear and Double Blade Axe.

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair[]
Some of Alucard and Soma Cruz's weapons are two handed. Greatswords, Axes, and Lances are all two handed weapons, as well as the miscellaneous weapons Tonfas and Nunchaku. Katanas are now one handed weapons in this game. While most of Soma's overhead weapons are 2-handed (Greatswords and Axes), Cudgels, which Alucard can also use, require only one hand.
