Aldra (アルドラの町 Arudora no Machi?, lit. "Town of Aldra") is a location in Castlevania II: Simon's Quest. It is a town located on the north bank of the western stretch of the Dead River. It is mostly devoid of men and populated with many women (some of the villagers will flirt with Simon Belmont if spoken to). It is where the player can find an adventurous Vampire Killer crystal trader, who will give a Red Crystal, which will be needed to get beyond Deborah's Cliff. It also has church where the player can replenish their health.
Aldra is located on the west bank of the Dead River across from the Belasco Marsh. On the other side of the town lies the Sadam Woods.

- On English guides like Nintendo Power and the NES Game Atlas, the town appears translated as "Alba".
- A Townswoman in the town of Veros mentions that one of the Clues to Dracula's riddle can be found in the town of "Alba" - Alba being the alternate name of Aldra. However, this is a mistranslation, the original Japanese text says "Aljiba"; and in fact, there is a Clue to be found in the town of Aljiba and none in Aldra.[2]
- "Alba" is a common name for places and settlements in Romania, which include the Alba County in Transylvania, and Alba Iulia, a city in said county.
