Alucard Mail is the armor Alucard is wearing at the beginning of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Along with the rest of his equipment, he loses this item when Death steals it. On his journey to recover it, he will find a cheap replica called the Alucart Mail. He will eventually find the real armor hidden in Death Wing's Lair. It gives him resistance to Fire, Thunder, and Ice and is probably the strongest general-use armor in the game, with stronger armors either lacking special bonuses (God's Garb) or requiring much more effort to reach their full potential (Walk Armor). The only armor with a comparably powerful ability is the Mojo Mail, which has a distinctly inferior defense.
