Amalaric Snipers resemble the upper torso of a four-armed flying angel, and are some of the rare holy-themed enemies. They signal their appearance with a single arrow, before teleporting in place. Once there, they will float above the player, taking careful aim before firing powerful holy-based arrows. They are strong against holy weapons, which sometimes makes them hard to kill.
The enemy is, in different games, called Sniper of Goth and Amalaric Sniper. Both names are technically correct.

Trivia
- Amalaric (Amalric, Amalarico) (AD 502-531) was king of the Visigoths from AD 526-531. He was assassinated by his own soldiers in Barcelona. In the games, the ghosts of his assassins appear to have come under Dracula's employ[citation needed].
