AoS Sky Fish

Blessing and Blessed Wings are Guardian Souls in both Sorrow opus. While praying, both LCK and STR (INT in Dawn of Sorrow) increase for a moment.

Game specific information[]

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow[]

The ability can be obtained by gaining dominance over the Sky Fish's soul. The enemy can be found only in two rooms in the entire game (both located in the Underground Reservoir, one of which is the room with the Big Golem) and the Chronomage's soul is necessary to slow the Sky Fish down and make it able to be damaged.

By charging this ability for up over 6 seconds, it increases both STR and LCK by 1%-150% based off charge time, although it consumes 60 MP/TIME while charging. It provides the highest luck boost and the second highest strength boost (it can only be surpassed with Lubicant's soul, Berserker, at a high level) among all other souls and equipment found in the game, although its effect only lasts for 4 seconds.

Its effect is activated once the soul stops charging, either if its charging has finished or if it has been interrupted by other means, such as getting damaged. It cannot be charged again before the effect ends, even if its effect did not max out.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow[]

The ability can be obtained by gaining dominance over the Flying Humanoid's soul. The enemy can only be found in the Cursed Clock Tower, in the room between the Save Room and Zephyr's boss room. The only way to kill it is by using Mandragora's soul, Last Scream, and it has a 100% drop rate.

When cast, the player is given a bonus to INT and LCK, although the R button must be held down and charge it in order to gain the effect. The longer the button is held, the larger the bonus received. The bonus amounts this soul can yield are INT +1-75 and LCK +0-18 based off charge time, with the maximum amounts attainable by holding the button for up to 9 seconds (consumes 15 MP/TIME while charging). It must be noted, though, that further collection of Flying Humanoid's souls won't give any extra bonuses (that is, collecting two or more won't grant any greater effects). The soul ceases to function —even when fully charged— if/when the MP meter is depleted.

Additionally, a pair of angelic wings will grow from Soma's back; this is only an aesthetic, though, as they won't allow flight or affect gameplay in any way and they're only there to visually represent when the ability is still active.
