The Bloody Cape is a cape in Castlevania that increases the total amount of Hearts or MP when damage is taken. It is similar in appearance to the Crimson Cloak, which only modifies statistics.
In Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (called the Blood Cloak in North America) it also converts damage into Hearts. It gives +4 CON and +2 DEF, which is one more CON than a Reverse Cloak and one less than an Elven Cloak.
In Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, (called the Bloody Cape), it also converts damage to hearts as it did in Symphony of the Night. It gives no stat boosts in this game.
Wearing the Bloody Cape in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair while taking damage causes the MP meter to fill up. The cape is otherwise unremarkable (+3 to HP, MP, and DEF) and is the only cape that does not offer protection against some kind of attack.
