Blood Sucker is a Bullet Soul in Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. It allows to regain HP by drinking blood.
Characteristics[]
This ability can be obtained by gaining dominance over the Succubus soul. When equipped, Soma Cruz's head will briefly glare with a reddish tint (apparently coming from his eyes), and then steps forward and bites the target to restore HP (healing = to 75% of his INT) while inflicting high damage.
This move has short range (same as Max Straight), but since each bite restores HP and does decent damage at high levels, this is a very useful soul. It is made even better by the fact that the effect works on candles, statues and other furniture.
While this soul is outclassed by others in terms of combat effectiveness, it serves as a very useful means to restore HP, especially when used on furniture that drops Hearts, which help refund the MP cost of casting. This effect can be amplified when Blood Sucker is used in conjunction with the Heart Eater's soul, Heart Up. In this case, the MP return from Hearts obtained for using Blood Sucker on furniture surpasses the cost of casting, effectively healing both HP and MP.
The maximum healing achievable is 135 HP with a Level 99 Soma equipped with Kaladbolg, Serenity Robe, Rosary, a fully charged Blessed Wings, and a fully stacked Lilith's soul, INT Boost.

- The stance Soma Cruz takes when using this technique resembles the classic depictions of vampires while feeding on a victim.
- In Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, Dracula uses a similar (or possibly the same) technique to attack Shanoa and drain her blood to restore his own health.
