When Guido finishes summoning Satan and he dies, the fallen angel mentions how he is well aware of Gabriel's power. I imagine this is a question of what exactly he means. COuld he haave been talking about the power of the Forgotten One that Gabriel stole? Because that didn't exactly prevetn Gabriel from being defeated by Alucard and Simon. When he was stabbed with the Combat Cross copy, it supposedly "killed" him but Alucard knew it wouldn't be permanent because the Forgotten could have been destroyed by something more powerful than him if he kept his pwoer within himself. However, throughout LOS1, there was always mention of obtaining the power of the Dark Lords, i.e. the pieces of the God Mask. Is it possible that Gabriel's immortality came from the Holy power that he attain from the God Mask? He was the one who won all three pieces, and if gameplay is any indication, when Satan wore the mask during their fight, it proved meaningless because Gabriel defeated him anyway. Perhaps the real power behind Gabriel's immortality was the Holy power coursing through him before he became a vampire, and taking the Forgotten One's power cemented how powerful he would later become?
