The Brigandine is a recurring Body Armor in the Castlevania series. It is an armor made from a combination of wood and metal or golden plates, but they could also be dragon scales. Historical brigandines are a sort of armored vest or doublet, usually riveting strips of metal into the fabric.
Game specific information[]
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance[]
The Brigandine gives +40 DEF, which is 4 more than the Guardian Armor, but 5 less than the Ancient Armor.
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness[]
The Brigandine can be created by adding a Knight's Vein to an Eastern Armor. This loses the Easter Armor's +5 ATK boost, but and only gains a single DEF boost (DEF = 16). It cannot be evolved any further.
