The Buried Chamber is a location in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin.
Overview[]
The Buried Chamber is a basic connector area between the Entrance and the Great Stairway due to the northern exit in the Entrance area being initially blocked off. It is another iteration of the many dungeons and torture chambers that have appeared before in previous Castlevania titles. It houses many hidden rooms and hidden items, but not much else of interest rests here. The bodies of would be heroes are hung chained from the ceiling as a warning sign to those who would dare venture further into the castle. In one area of the Buried Chamber lies a sewer like section that is home to a Mermen infestation. There are still prisoners in the dungeon cells who scream in agony.
