Castle Keep (Nintendo 64)

The Castle Keep is a location in Castlevania and Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness.

Overview

Like other castle keeps in the series, this stage has the emblematic long stairway that rises toward the sky as if suspended by nothing, except that this time it has several rooms chained together. A series of bosses must be fought, depending on actions taken in the game and the characters played with.

Notes

The flames blocking the ledge that wraps around Dracula's keep are illusory and harmless. Traversing around the ledge leads to the last torches in the game behind the keep, which have high level drops that will aid during the final encounters.
An invisible path to a floating torch is also found behind the keep. Care must be taken not to fall.
