Castlevania Advance Collection is a compilation package that includes all three Castlevania games originally released on the Game Boy Advance handheld console from 2001 to 2003: Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. It also includes Castlevania: Dracula X, which was originally released in 1995 on the Super NES. The collection was released worldwide on Nintendo Switch, PC (via the Steam service) and PlayStation 4 on September 23, 2021, and on Xbox One on September 24, 2021.

Development

On June 18, 2021, the Australian Classification Board (ACB) published a rating for an application made by Konami Digital Entertainment titled "Castlevania Advance Collection" (classification number #293491). The product was rated "M" and stated to be multi-platform.[1]

On June 25, 2021, the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea published a rating for an application made by H2 Interactive Co., Ltd. for "Castlevania Advance Collection" for PC. The product was rated for "12 year olds[+]".[2]

On September 22, 2021, the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee published a rating for an application made by Konami Digital Entertainment for "Castlevania Advance Collection". The product was rated "PG-12" and stated to be for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In addition, the rating stated that the titles it covered were Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, and Castlevania: Dracula X. This rating also included an image featuring part of the cover artwork from Circle of the Moon, as well as a title logo.

On September 23, 2021, the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) published a rating for an application made by Konami Digital Entertainment for "Castlevania Advance Collection". The product was rated "T" (Teen) and stated to be for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.[3]

Also on September 23, during the September Nintendo Direct, Castlevania Advance Collection was officially announced for Nintendo Switch and released the same day. On the official website, it is mentioned that it would also be coming to Steam, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox One/Series X/S.
