Circlet

A Circlet is a simple ring-like crown found in the Castlevania series.

In Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, it increases INT by 5. More powerful circlets can be found in that game that also have an effect on an attack type. These items cause Alucard to "Absorb" attacks of a certain type so that he gains HP when he is attacked by them.

In Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance (called a Plain Circlet in the North American version), it is a low grade defensive head item, granting +3 DEF. This is one greater than a Sturdy Turban, but one less than a Leather Cap.
