In 1830, after Camilla successfully resurrected Count Dracula, Death presumably returned alongside him. He later fought Nathan Graves at the Underground Warehouse, although he is ultimately defeated by the vampire hunter and sent back to his realm.
When confronted, Death largely fights with the same methods he does in most games. However, he also has an additional attack where he has large spear-like appendages emerge from him. After being beaten in this form, he then transforms into a skeletal, tortoise-like form with a horned skull for a head and scythes for its front legs, although his attack pattern otherwise remains the same.
- Unlike in other games of the franchise, there isn't any indication that Death had any close relationship to Dracula beyond being a minion in Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. Instead, the Necromancer was shown to have Death's usual role.
