Demon Cleaving Holy Sword is a bullet soul in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. It summons a Valkyrie that slashes enemies with her sword. It can be obtained by gaining dominance over a Valkyrie's soul.

This soul summons a nude Valkyrie in front of Soma Cruz who performs a powerful slash upward with her holy sword, damaging enemies in front and above. Since this spell can be obtained relatively early in the game (Inner Quarters, just after defeating the Headhunter), its base damage is quite powerful, has long reach, and it also deals Holy damage (which most enemies are weak against), it is one of the best souls Soma can get his hands upon and it will remain useful for the rest of the game. While it is costly to cast (50 MP), few enemies can withstand this attack.

- When this ability is cast, the summoned Valkyrie yells "Sokoda!", which translates from Japanese as "There!" or "There it is!".
- The design of the Valkyrie's sword bears a strong resemblance to the Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda series, although it is unconfirmed if this is a reference or just coincidental.
- The sword also bears a resemblance to some versions of the Claimh Solais, which in turn could be a double reference to The Legend of Zelda sword.
