Despair is a brief music theme originally composed by Michiru Yamane for Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. It is played during the scene when Rinaldo reveals Sara's vampiric infection to Leon.
The track contains an arrangement of Melancholy Joachim.
The track was later reused for Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls.
