Diamond Plate

The Diamond Plate (sometimes called Diamond Armor) is an armor made of diamond, the most endurable natural material known. It is often the strongest armor that only increases DEF, being stronger than a Platinum Plate.

In Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, the Diamond Plate it the strongest DEF-boosting armor. It gives a DEF boost of +15, which is higher than Platinum Mail (+10). It has the same as Mojo Mail, Axe Lord Armor (turns its wearer into an Axe Armor), and only less than Alucard Mail (+20, resists Fire, Thunder and Ice).

In Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, the Diamond Armor is also the strongest DEF-boosting armor. It gives a DEF boost of +210, which is higher than Platinum Armor (150). It is not as strong as the attack boosting Needle Armor.
