Dove

Doves are Maria Renard's main attack weapon in most games she has appeared in. Two doves are released and attack forward. In The Dracula X Chronicles version of Symphony of the Night, her main attack birds behave like doves do, but appear as Owls.

Doves were able to be utilized by Maria's ancestors, who allowed Desmond Belmont to use them as a sub-weapon.

Castlevania: Order of Shadows

Desmond can find the Doves sub-weapon at the end of the upper broken bridge in the Cavern. He uses them differently than Maria does; he releases two doves which flutter forward and downward and fly off the end of the screen, or downward and forward.
