- — Last words of Dracula Wraith
The Dracula Wraith (ドラキュラファントム Dorakyura Fantomu?, lit. "Dracula Phantom") is a being born of Dracula's remains and the evil soul that was created inside of Maxim Kischine after he came in contact with them. He is the real final boss of Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance. He is not actually Dracula himself (he indicates that he has never felt the power of a Belmont before).
Description[]
Dracula Wraith's initial form is similar to Dracula's and attacks like him as well. He will teleport to a random location, perform an attack, and then quickly vanish. He only has two offensive options: In the first and most frequent, he opens his cape and releases three-directional fireballs, which Juste Belmont can easily leap over and in the process score a head strike; on the second, he will expel seven flaming spheres, one after another, that after release will rev up and blast toward Juste.
The first form of the Wraith features very basic and exploitable A.I., though; he won't do anything else than the two aforementioned attacks and is not programmed to react to the player's movements in any way. As such, it is quite easy to exploit his moveset by simply jumping over his head as soon as he materializes, and then start performing jump kicks on his head, remaining completely safe from his attacks and without spending any resources. Once he vanishes, the process can be repeated until his first form is defeated.
His second form is a giant amalgamated version of all of Dracula's remains. The Wraith now appears as a giant human-dragon hybrid skull featuring each of Dracula's body parts in a large and monstrous form, having the huge and exposed eyeball following the player's movements, the heart incessantly pumping and somewhat acting like a brain or sorts, due to its position on the skull, and the nail having acquired the form of a long and extendible tentacle with large pincers on its tip.
Every once in a while, the eye will unleash a large energy beam straightforward; just crouch to avoid it (keeping some distance from the creature is advisable in order to avoid being accidentally hit by the tentacle). The tentacle, on its part, will be constantly wiggling around, which can casually hit the player if not careful. After a while, it will stop for a moment and then perform and lunging-downward swipe; it has considerable reach, so the player is advised to move away from the monster as soon as this attack is identified.
Maxim Mode[]
In Maxim Mode, the player fights only the second form of the Wraith, although they can battle the first in Boss Rush Mode. Maxim can abuse a serious exploit against the Wraith's second form: By using his Somersault attack, Maxim can move through the Wraith without much trouble. As the Wraith was not programmed to turn around in such an occasion, it can be easily defeated, as it does not attack except with its randomly moving tentacle.

Trivia[]
- Dracula Wraith's Japanese voice actor, Takuo Kawamura, performed four characters in Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance: Maxim Kischine, the Merchant, Death, and the Dracula Wraith.
- When correctly starting a Hard Mode game, the Dracula Wraith's attack phrase is spoken upon confirming.
- Despite the Dracula Wraith using the six relics Juste Belmont obtained to form its body, Juste still has access to them all in the Relic screen during both battles.
