The Elven Cape, also known as Elven Cloak, is a green cloak made by Elves found in Castlevania games, which sometimes provides special protection to various types of attacks.
In Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, it gives +5 CON, which is one more CON than a Blood Cloak and one less than a Crystal Cloak.
In Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, the Elven Cape is the cape that in addition to the standard Defense boost also improves Mind (+4 DEF, +5 MND) (as opposed to the Assassin's Cape which also improves Attack and the Blue Cape which also improves Intelligence).
In Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, the Elven Cape is the cape that offers protection against the widest variety of attack types (+5 to each). It is the first that offers protection against Lightning, the only one that offers protection against Piercing attacks, as well as the standard resistance to Fire and Ice. It is the strongest cape (HP +4, MP +6, DEF +5, MND +5) that can be purchased from the shop (10,000 gold).
Two different green cloaks were used in Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance instead, namely the Wind Cloak (protection against wind) and the Emerald Cloak.
