Europe is a continent located entirely in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Eastern Hemisphere. It is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Asia to the east, and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. It comprises the westernmost part of Eurasia.
This land has been the main setting on which most of the Castlevania games take place (some exceptions include Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow). Dracula's Castle can usually be found there, in the Romanian region of Transylvania.
The continent played a major role in Castlevania: Bloodlines, where the vampiress Elizabeth Bartley, niece of the vampire lord, Count Dracula, set on a long journey all across Europe in order to escape her two persecutors, John Morris and Eric Lecarde, with the ultimate intention of resurrecting her unholy uncle at her own abode in England.
