The Guardian Knuckle (ガーディアンナックル, Gādian Nakkuru^?) is a special attack performed by Maria Renard.

Games specific information[]

Castlevania: Rondo of Blood[]

The Guardian Knuckle is a hidden attack available when playing as Maria. It is performed by entering Up, Down-Right + II when facing right. The punches are performed by the summoned guardian.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night[]

In the Saturn version, Maria performs the attack herself, charging up electricity on her fist before releasing it with a punch while lunging forward. It is called Guardians Knuckle.^[1]

In The Dracula X Chronicles version of Symphony of the Night, the attack can be performed when possessing the Doll sub-weapon. It can only Item Crash.

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin[]

Maria summons a guardian that attacks with a flurry of punches, restoring 2%+1 HP on impact. It can be used against breakable objects for the same effect.

Castlevania Judgment[]

Guard Attack is an unblockable attack, performed by entering L.Trigger + B.

Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls[]

In Grimoire of Souls, Maria can use it as a Weapon Skill, and the older version of her can use it as a character skill.
