Grimoire of Souls Chapter 1

Dracula's Castle is the first chapter of Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls. It takes place inside a grimoire recording Simon's first entry into Dracula's Castle. The locations seem to be based on that of Castlevania and Super Castlevania IV.

Sub-stages[]

Prologue: The approach to the castle, resembling the beginning of Castlevania Block 1. The music for this section is Beginning. The first two stages of Prologue are played as part of the tutorial. In stage 1-2, the final battle then proceeds to a fight against Death, which will always end in the player's defeat. Unlike other boss fights in Grimoire of Souls, this fight cannot be replayed, except by accessing it from Memories in the Compendium.

In the Beginning: A courtyard reminiscent of Super Castlevania IV Stage 1. The music in this section is Simon Belmont's Theme.

A Daring Advance: The castle interior. Vampire Killer is the theme for this section.

Wings in the Dark: A large chamber inside the castle where the Giant Bat is fought, resembling the corresponding room from Castlevania. Nothing to Lose plays during the boss fight.
