Final Guard (ability)

Final Guard is a defensive energy shield, or sometimes just the action of raising up a shield to become impervious to all forms of attack, put up by a Final Guard. It can be used by Soma Cruz by gaining the soul of one of these enemies in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow and Harmony of Despair. When Soma uses it, he is invulnerable to any kind of projectiles or any other form of attack. It consumes a very high rate of MP, though, and it makes the player immobile.
