Finishers in Castlevania Judgment are Special Attacks that can deal big damage. Some can be performed while stationary, others while moving, and others while jumping. They are performed by performing a Normal Attack (Shake Wii Remote, press b on a Classic Controller, or press B on a GameCube Controller) and pressing Special (B on the Wii Remote, a on the Classic Controller, or a on the GameCube Controller) at the same time.

Like Normal Attacks, following up a Finisher with another finisher attack may result in a Finisher Combo (aka Special Combo). The number of Finisher Combos varies from character to character. They are normally done by performing another Finisher attack sequence. In the event that there is an alternate finisher combo that can directly follow a finisher, the alternate finisher combo is performed without holding down the Special button. Some Finisher Combos can follow other Finisher Combos to form longer combos.

An even more powerful type of finisher, called a Super Finisher (or Hyper Attack), can be performed by pressing the designated button when the Skill Gauge (Hyper Gauge) is full.
