The Fire Mail is an armor that gives protection against Fire-based attacks. It is similar in function to the Wyrm Robe found in other games.
In Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, it is the first elemental armor encountered, and gives less DEF than any of the other ones (+4). This is half as much defense as the Lightning Mail, Ice Mail or Dark Armor.
It is the only elemental armor found in Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance. It grants +36 DEF, which is the same as a Guardian Armor, and 4 less than a Brigandine. Protection against Lightning can be obtained from the Lightning Robe in this game.
The Armor of Fire in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow grants a DEF boost of +34, which is one more than the Armor of Water and one less than the Silver Plate.
