The Fist of Tulkas (called the Orichalcum in Japan) is a glove with a monster's head on it that is blessed by Tulkas the Valar. Wearing it allows the user to unleash a powerful punch, a Flurry of Fists attack, and Fireballs. It is the most powerful fist weapon in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. It is also a reference to The Lord of the Rings.
In Symphony of the Night, it's the only fist weapon capable of performing a Flurry of Fists special attack in midair. This move can be canceled by pressing up or down on the d pad during its execution in midair, and by pressing any direction except the one the player character is facing when performed on the ground. Its special attacks cost no MP and it provides a DEF bonus of 5.
