Flame (炎 Honoo?) is the third Soul Weapon that Sonia Belmont can acquire in Castlevania: Legends. It can deal some damage to all enemies on the screen (except for bosses) for 5 hearts. It is acquired after defeating Death at the end of Stage 3 and can first be used in Stage 4. It becomes completely obsolete if the player acquires the hidden Magic soul weapon, which completely destroys the same type of enemies on the screen and their attacks for the same amount of hearts.
