Flying Zombies are enemies in the Castlevania series. They are zombies which attack even when cut in half.
Description
A seemingly normal Zombie; when attacked, it splits in half and the upper body flies around while the lower body continues to walk toward the player. Both halves must then be separately destroyed.
Appearances
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Flying Zombies are only encountered in Death Wing's Lair, and also make an appearance in the Soul Prison, a stage exclusive to the Saturn version of Symphony of the Night.
They look just like normal Zombies, albeit wearing old, ragged prison pants instead of tunics. They also move notoriously slow and are generally encountered in numbers.
