Ganbare Goemon Gaiden 2: Tenka no Zaihō (がんばれゴエモン外伝２ 天下の財宝? lit. "Go for it Goemon Gaiden 2: Treasure of the World") is a Ganbare Goemon game released for the Family Computer on January 3, 1992 in Japan. It was also re-released for the Wii U Virtual Console on May 20, 2015 in Japan.
Simon Belmont is a recruitable character in this role-playing game. He is met by the party when they arrive to Europe. In combat, he can use a Holy Water ability.
Plot[]
This is a sequel to the first Ganbare Goemon Gaiden role-playing game, which is a side story in the entire Ganbare Goemon series. Goemon, a cunning but chivalrous thief and an avid treasure hunter, has nothing to do and sits in his house being bored, but his trusty friend, Ebisumaru, has good news: there is a big treasure to find somewhere in a big city across the sea. Of course, the treasure won't be just given to Goemon, he'll have to perform a dangerous mission before he can acquire it. The two friends board a ship and thus their journey begins.
