Getsu Fuma (月風魔 (げつ ふうま)?) (also spelled Getsu Fuuma or Getsu Fuhma; written in Western Order as "Fūma Getsu") is the protagonist of the 1987 Famicom game Getsu Fūma Den.

On February 2, 2011, he was included as a downloadable playable character in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.

In 2021, 34 years after the first game in the GetsuFumaDen series, he reappears as "The Founder" in GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon.

Abilities

Fuma has three default sub-weapons in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair:

  • War Drum: Fires sonic waves at enemies.
  • Throwing Star: Throws three shuriken out. The number of shurikens increases as the skill is leveled up.
  • Hexplosives: Throws magic explosive which go along the ground. The number of fireballs after contacting an enemy increases as the skill is leveled up.
