Getsu Fuma (月風魔 (げつ ふうま)?) (also spelled Getsu Fuuma or Getsu Fuhma; written in Western Order as "Fūma Getsu") is the protagonist of the 1987 Famicom game Getsu Fūma Den. On February 2nd, 2010, he was included as a downloadable playable character in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.
Abilities
Fuma has three default sub-weapons in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair:
- War Drum: Fires sonic waves at enemies.
- Throwing Star: Throws three shuriken out. The number of shurikens increases as the skill is leveled up.
- Hexplosives: Throws magic explosive which go along the ground. The number of fireballs after contacting an enemy increases as the skill is leveled up.
A glitch was confirmed that putting Down-B subskills can be spammed (useful for training them on Survival Mode). Hold Down while pressing LB and B at the same time at a fast speed to spam.
Item Data
Several items used by Getsu Fuma can be found in this game. Only Fuma is able to use his weapons, which are available to him at the beginning of the game. He must find his signature defensive gear, which whip-wielders can also equip.

Although there were no sequels made to Getsu Fūma Den, Fuma has made cameo appearances in several other Konami products:

Notes
- His name 月風魔 (げつ ふうま) Getsu Fūma means 月 (moon), 風 (wind) and 魔 (demon/devil/evil/magic).
- Fuma's double jump is called Mashō no Koma (魔性のコマ, lit. "Demonic Spin Top") from Getsu Fūma Den.
- Unlike the other playable characters, Fuma is based on a real-life historical figure known as Fūma Kotarō, a ninja-turned brigand who served the Hōjō clan of samurai during the Japanese Warring States period.
