God's Garb are the clothes that God or a god wears. It is the ultimate body armor, giving more Defense than any other armor in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and boosting resistance to all types of attack in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.
Symphony of the Night
God's Garb is the strongest armor of all in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It grants a Defense boost of +25 as well as a Constitution boost of +2. This is greater than the Alucard Mail (+20 DEF). It lacks the Alucard Mail's protection against Fire, Ice, and Lightning though.
God's Garb is dropped by Guardians, which are extremely difficult to kill. If you have a clear game with 200%, you can start a new game and enter a new name called "MEPHISTO" on the Name Entry Screen to make it so these Guardians will "always" drop the God's Garb.
Harmony of Despair
The God's Garb is a drop rare drop off chapter 5 and 6 boss chests, but is a much more common drop in hard chapter boss chests and golden chests in chapters 5 and 6.
