Goemon is a hidden item in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.

Background

Goemon is the main protagonist from the Ganbare Goemon series and one of Konami's most renowned mascots. He appears as a hidden item in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair and has also appeared in several mascot games which usually feature Castlevania characters.

In the special two-issue manga Ganbare Goemon: Chapter Hell, he fought and defeated Count Dracula alongside Pierre Belmont, Simon's alleged grandfather who he met in the underworld.

• Goemon is loosely based on semi-legendary Japanese outlaw hero Ishikawa Goemon (1558-1594), who stole gold and valuables to give them to the poor.
• In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Goemon appears as a Mii Costume for the Mii Swordfighter as part of Wave 3.
