Trivia[]
- The word greşit means "wrong" in Romanian.
- The "sleeping soldier" statue at the town's square was based on Eric Lecarde's artwork from Castlevania: Bloodlines.[1]
- The Gresit's citizens being constantly attacked by night and hiding in their homes, while coming out to continue their daily affairs by day may be inspired by the day-and-night cycle mechanic from Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, where villagers carried on in the same manner.
- One location in Gresit is likely a reference to the Butoiul de Aur ("The Golden Barrel") restaurant in Sibiu, Romania (related location at Google Maps).
