The Hill Guard is an enemy in the Castlevania series. He is an armored warrior who specializes in fighting on uneven ground.
Description[]
Hill Guards are knights that patrol stairways and other inclined planes. They move up or down this slant slowly, but then they can perform a fast thrust with their swords either up or down the ramp (in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, they can perform a dash thrust going down the stairs but not up). They cannot step onto ground level, though.
