Hot Dog (Frankfurter in Symphony of the Night and Encore of the Night) is a food item that recovers health in the Castlevania series. It recovers 19 HP in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, which is the lowest recovering fast food entree, being one less than a Hamburger, but one more than Cheese.
It is dropped by a Flying Zombie in Symphony of the Night. When called a "Hot Dog", it is dropped by hog or dog like enemies, such as the Hell Boar in Dawn of Sorrow, Glasya Labolas in Portrait of Ruin, and Fenrir in Curse of Darkness. It can also be found in the Long Library and Castle Keep in Symphony of the Night.
In Harmony of Despair, it is a common item that grants +18 HP and +3 CON. This is better than a Canelé or a Hamburger (each +15 HP, +2 CON). It is inferior to Fried Chicken, which grants the same amount of HP, but an additional 2 CON.
