Ice Balls are balls of ice used to attack enemies or to intercept incoming attacks against incoming attacks. In Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, the Apollo + Jupiter DSS combination causes an ice ball to be lobbed and then breaks into several smaller chunks when striking something. The Jupiter + Serpent effect (Ice Ball Circle) causes four Ice Balls to rotate around Nathan, blocking incoming attacks. Either of these effects can freeze an enemy.
