Ice Cream is a food item that recovers health in the Castlevania series. Its first appearance was as a food item for Maria in Rondo of Blood and later in The Dracula X Chronicles. There is also another variant called Soft Serve Ice Cream in the same game.
In Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, it gives the player 15 HP. It gives one more HP than a Cheesecake and one less than a Parfait. It also gives the same amount of HP than a Barley Tea.
Ice Cream is dropped by ice-based enemies such as the Frozen Shade in Symphony of the Night and Dawn of Sorrow, and the Frost Demon in Curse of Darkness. It can also be dropped by enemies that enjoy eating it, such as the Death Ripper in the latter game.
Ice Cream can also be found in the Burnt Paradise in Portrait of Ruin.
