The Invisible Man is an enemy in the Castlevania series. He is a magician who forfeited his soul in exchange for invisibility.

The invisible man is based on Griffin, the protagonist of H.G. Wells' The Invisible Man. In the novel, he is a brilliant scientist who discovers a way to turn people invisible through changing human refractive index into air. However, he takes immoral actions to fulfill his own selfish needs.

First, to finance his research he steal his father's money, indirectly causing his suicide, and second, he burns down his own apartment to cover his tracks when his landlord becomes suspicious.

Griffin, however, gets tired of his invisibility but is driven mad when he can't reverse it. In his madness, he asks his old schoolmate, Dr. Kemp, to be his partner in his reign of terror, but Kemp refuses and rallies the people and police force of Port Burdock. Griffin, who is now vengeful toward Kemp, shoots the police colonel with Kemp's own gun, but is soon seized and killed by the mob. In his death, the invisibility fades revealing his naked, battered corpse to the public.

An invisible human that, when approached, takes off the trench coat he is wearing and attacks the player with martial arts moves. These attacks are capable of sending characters flying, making them more vulnerable to another attack. He can be detected by the blurry air where he is standing. Once defeated, the Invisible Man's body will gradually become covered in blood and let out a dying grunt before disappearing.
