A Leather Hat is basic Head Gear.
In Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, this gives the lowest amount of any Head Gear that only increases DEF. It gives identical protection as the Ballroom Mask.
In Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, the Leather Hat drops in the first stage and is probably the best non-boss chest helm found in first chapter on normal.
