Lubicant is an enemy in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. He is an always angry minion of Hell. Not enough calcium in his diet.
Origins

The Malebranche threaten Virgil and Dante, portrayed by Gustave Doré.
Rubicante is a demon who appears in Inferno of Dante's Divine Comedy. In the poem, he is part of a demonic troop called the Malebranche, who guard the fifth bolgia of Malebolge. The Malebolge is found in the eighth circle of Hell, Fraud, where corrupt politicians are immersed in burning pitch.
Description
A demon with a stabbing trident attack. Despite having a similar behavior than Cagnazzo and Skull Millione, he has neither the ability to inflict Poison, nor the ability to inflict Curse. Unlike those other demons, Lubicant's attack power depends on the player's defense boost and max HP. As a result, his attack is less affected by armor than the other enemies.
His attack power can be calculated as follows:
Where DEF, CON, and Max HP are Soma's current stats.

Soul
Lubicant's soul, Berserker, is unique; while equipped, the player's stats increase while their health decreases. Some players, as a speed-running tactic in Boss Rush Mode, may drink spoiled milk so as to be left with only 1 HP, and storm through the bosses using a powerful weapon, such as the Claimh Solais.
