The Magical Ticket (called Library Card in the North American version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night) is an item which can be used to instantly transport a player to wherever the shop in the game is.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night[]
Library Cards can be purchased at the Master Librarian's shop or found at certain parts of the map. Using them teleports Alucard at the shop's entrance in the Long Library, even from the Reverse Castle. In the Sega Saturn version, the Magical Ticket will teleport Alucard right inside the shop room instead.
Unlike most (if not all) other games where similar items have appeared in, the Library Card in Symphony of the Night can be used during the fight against the final boss, Dracula, in the Reverse Castle Center, allowing the player to uncover that room on the map and save the game even before completing it.
- Availability
- Long Library: Purchased from the Master Librarian at $500 each.
- Marble Gallery: In the right trapdoor room that opens by pressing the switch found behind the blue energy door unlocked with the Jewel of Open.
- Colosseum: Lying at the entrance of the boss room.
- Catacombs: On the right wing. Break the wall behind the Spike Breaker armor.
- Reverse Keep: In the room below the Save Room.
- Forbidden Library: Destroy one of the statues in the upside-down empty Master Librarian's study.
- Floating Catacombs: On the left wing. Break the wall behind the Elixir.
- Black Marble Gallery: Along the shortcut path that connects to the Reverse Entrance, lying on the floor between two wheeled spikes that close when the player stands between them.
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness[]
- Availability
- Baljhet Mountains: Outside Julia's shop.
- Garibaldi Temple:
- Facing the main entrance (after the cutscene with Zead), head right and turn around the corner to find it.
- Outside the room that contains the Brute Force I.D. ability (shortly after Trevor's boss room).
- Tower of Evermore: At the top of the tower (50F) after gliding to it from the Tower of Eternity.
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin[]
Magical Tickets can be bought at Vincent Dorin's shop for 1,000G. However, they won't be available for purchase from the beginning of the game, but only after the player has accumulated 20,000 Shop Points (pressing R at the main shop menu will display the current amount of Shop Points the player has) which is equivalent to spending at least $200,000 in his shop. Using the Magical Ticket from the "USE ITEM" menu will instantly transport the player, wherever they are, to Vincent's shop. There are some exceptions, however, like certain parts of the Nest of Evil where the ticket won't have any effect.
Magical Tickets cannot be used if the game hasn't been saved at least once during a playthrough, which means that if a player makes progress through the game, has accumulated the necessary Shop Points for Magical Tickets to appear at the shop, has bought at least one, but didn't take the time to save the game at a Save Point at least once during the game, the ticket won't be able to be activated, a buzzing sound will play and nothing will happen.
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia[]
Magical Tickets can be bought at Jacob's shop or can be found in wooden treasure chests (mostly in Minera Prison Island), but instead of teleporting Shanoa directly to the shop, using this item will teleport her to the center of Wygol Village.
