The Magician's city is a location in the Castlevania animated series. It is an unnamed fictional city in Wallachia.
Overview and history[]
Operating from his spire, a powerful and learned Magician in Wallachia harbored ambitions to rebuild some semblance of civilized society after society's and civilization's destruction by Dracula and his forces. Specifically, he sought to build his own civilization with its nucleus being his tower and the surrounding area, but the Magician wanted more and began using powerful magic to enslave countless settlements of village-people to build a grand city state as the start of his new civilization. One day, he arrived in the former Forgemaster Miranda's village and magically enslaved all of the townsfolk to do his bidding. Only Miranda was able to resist and escape capture, as she possesses magical powers. The other inhabitants, along with those of other villages, were brought to the Magician's tower to build a city-state and defenses.
