Matthew Waterson is a British-American actor, voice actor and producer, probably best known for his role of the troll Draal in the Trollhunters series. Some of his works include Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia (2016), Fallout 4 (2015) and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (2016).
He voiced Dragan in the Netflix Castlevania animated series.
Background[]
Waterson was born in America and grew up in Britain. He is a graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). He has both British and US citizenship and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
He currently appears in Guillermo Del Toro's Trollhunters as the troll warrior Draal. He recently worked on the Marvel film Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell as the villain Nightmare, and in the miniseries Halo: The Fall of Reach as Captain Wallaci.
In video games, he has appeared in Halo Wars 2 as Douglas-042, Conan Exiles as Conan the Barbarian, Final Fantasy XV, Titanfall 2, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, World of Warcraft, Halo 5: Guardians, Fallout 4, and Star Wars: Uprising.
He has also worked on stage in New York, across the US and in Europe.
