The Megingjord (called the Covenant Stone in the North American localization of Symphony of the Night and Megingelos in Curse of Darkness) is the belt that the Norse god Thor wore, which doubled his bodily strength. In 2D games, it increases both Strength and Attack. In 3D games, it causes the player to deal greater damage to enemies the lower their health is.

Characteristics

In Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, it raises both STR and ATT by +15. In Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, it raises STR by 10 and ATK by 5.

In both Castlevania: Lament of Innocence and Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, it causes the player to inflict greater damage on enemies the less health that they have.
