Mercury Boots are leg gear that allow their wearer to move faster (+20%). They were first introduced into the series in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, and they also made an apparition in Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia.
They are the slowest speed-increasing boots in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. They are slower than the Winged Boots or the Sonic Boots.

Trivia[]
- In Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, the Mercury Boots reuse the same icon sprite that was used for the Winged Boots in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia's version of the Winged Boots just uses a more elaborated version of the sprite.
- In Roman Mythology, Mercury is the god of financial gain, commerce, eloquence, messages, communication (including divination), travelers, boundaries, luck, trickery, and thieves; he also serves as the guide of souls to the underworld.
