  • Hi Ishi, From the table I've got from the game, I'm suspecting that Dracula's HP in his second form (Richter) is 1,200, not 600. Can you help me to confirm that?

Also, I need help in listing other enemies attack, especially those with the same element.

  • Hi Ishi,

Currently, I'm in IP (or ISP block. IDK since everytime I'm using this ISP, my account is blocked.)
I just want to mention that in AoS, Max HP affect all damage in general (not just trap/spike), and AFAIK, in other games (CoTM and SoTN) Max HP doesn't affect damages caused by enemies.

    • For AoS, it may be a Hard Mode exclusive, as I've yet to see that happen off of anything more than spikes and traps. Most of my time there has been spent in Normal Mode.

In CotM's case, AFAIK, there isn't really an attack that is set to do a % of Nathan's maximum HP. This is why the lightning traps in the game's Clock Tower are weaker than one would think, given the area's general reputation for being heavily covered in traps that do heavy damage.

For the rest of the games' cases, the information noted only applies to traps. It just tends to be that even with potent equipment, monsters can do heavy damage on a hit. Not much can be done to circumvent that, especially in Hard Mode, since it tends to be that no matter what, you will take more than at least 30 damage per hit, and that's just in Order of Ecclesia. Portrait of Ruin had it worse. All that, just to name a couple examples.

Also note that I'm editing from the perspective of someone who just started fresh. If you've had a bunch of Life Vessels from doing the New Game+ option, then you're not gonna notice this as much for monsters. Fresh characters, on the other hand, aren't so lucky.

  • Hi Ishi.

A few moments ago I started a poll to see if you'd like Dialogue Tables to appear within articles or in a separate sub-page, and I would also love to hear your opinion. Come visit the main thread HERE and make your voice be heard! XD

    Regards.

  • Hi Ishi (or do you prefer to be addressed as Jack?).

Yesterday I made a proposal for changing some pages' names and I would love to hear your opinion. Come visit the main thread here and tell me what you think.

    Regards.

  • Hello.

I wanted to ask something. I had the idea that the Death Ring in Order of Ecclesia would undoubtely kill you in one hit, no matter what. I always play on NORMAL mode, and very rarely play other modes or Boss Rush modes in any Castlevania game.

What makes it more confusing is that the game's description of that items literally says: "Hit may cause instant death", even if you always die when taking a hit (as far as I know).

Is there any way to survive a hit when wearing the ring?

    • Can't really say for sure on that one, as I haven't tested wearing the Death Ring yet. I CAN safely say, though, that going in Hard lv. cap 1, its not a bad idea if you're going without Life Vessels, as you're dead quick anyway if you can't dodge

    • I'm gonna assume it kills you in one hit always. I'll make the edition later.

      Thanks!

  • Hello, Jack.

I was wondering if you would like to write something for the Rarity page. Since I can't test anything from most games, because my main PC burned out and I haven't been able to fix it yet, I was thinking that maybe you could come up with something for that page.

    Cya!

  • I hope you're right about the 450 HP increase in the Emperor Ring page. Unfortunately I can't check it myself because I won't be able to get another copy of the game anytime soon.

What I did is check how much HP a High Potion restores in Order of Ecclesia (200 HP) and, like you said, increase it TO 125% (250 HP), not BY 125 % (450 HP). It's fixed now, though.

    Cya!

    • I can at least understand why someone would think that, though. Konami has done the reverse with a couple souls in Aria of Sorrow, in particular, the Erinys and Great Armor souls. These are stated to 'increase EXP earned by 120%' and 'increase STR by 120%', respectively, though the actual effects prove that this is not the case, rather the bonuses increasing said values to 120% of what they normally are.

As for Order of Ecclesia, I'm not just putting up miserable piles of worthless junk. This has been seen from actually playing the game. If it were that way, I don't think the edits that I've done for the Justice Ring would have stayed either.
