  • Since you are directly at the source of things, I am hoping you could help in clearing up something regarding the Castlevania lore. It is said that Chaos is the source of Dracula's power. However, does Chaos have a will on it's own? Is it sentient and does it control Dracula, or is Dracula in control of Chaos? I would very much appreciate if you could shed some light on this topic.

  • Kiyu-chan, May I ask you a favour? The dialogue images I uploaded or added on 4 games' script pages look really strange. For example:

*DoS script: The brown background within the images look akward.
    *OoE script: Same here.
*PoR script: No differ than those two (further more, the characters' emotions are lack).
*DXC script: The white background on images are akward (exclude RoB and SoN).

And also, I've got a plan for making dialogue template for Legends. Would you upload images for 5 games I mentioned, please? For DXC, I suggest for gif (with no backgrounds), and others are png, thank you.

PS. Your new-uploaded files looks awesome since your return! I appreciate for your works.

    • By the way, Kiyu-chan. The rest of other games' (DXC, DoS, PoR, OoE) have not yet uploaded.

  • It took time, but I could get free time. I'd restart it slowly.

  • Hello Kiyuhito,

A couple of years back you mentioned you kept a copy of the old KCEK Castlevania website. Could you perhaps share it with me? I would like to check something.

  • Hello Kiyuhito. How have you been?

I am aware that your visit here will be brief and that you are quite busy with real life affairs. Still, just wanted to stop by and say hi.

Take care and don't forget to come back when you have more free time.

    Regards.

  • Hi. I'm still hoping you'll be able to help me with the Konami Magazine request. I'm still wondering if any Contra games are mentioned in any of the volumes. Hope you return soon!

    • Sorry, I'm busy even now. I'm still strange to a new company, new work and a new workplace.

I'm away from my parents' home now. There is a magazine in its parents' home. Please wait until I return home sometime.

  • Hi, Kiyuhito, I'm still hoping you can help me out with the request below this message, regarding the Konami Magazines you have. I'm unable to find any other source for this magazine and could really, REALLY use the help.

    Thanks!

  • Hi.

Sorry if this is a bit off-topic, but did you directly supply the scans of the Konami Magazine volumes that featured Castlevania sections/coverage? I was hoping you could help me out with something if so. Do any of the later ones (from 2002 onwards) mention any of the Contra games? There was Shin Contra and Neo Contra on PS2, Contra Hard Spirits on GBA, the Konami The Best line of the aforementioned PS2 & GBA Contra games. Plus in 2005, there was the Oretachi line of arcade classics ported to PS2. I'd really appreciate the help as I can't find these magazines anywhere.

  • Hi Kiyuhito!

Since you were collecting magazines that cover Castlevania games and were posting them here, I may have a possible suggestion for a magazine which may be be interesting.

The 3th issue of Family Computer Magazine from 1990 has a coverage/walkthrough for Castlevania III/Akumajou Densetsu, so there might be some interesting information. I was planning on buying it and posting scans but I was outbid at the last moment. :(

    • Thank you for your information. When there was a chance, I'd get that.

    • I had got the magazine, but unfortunately there were no interesting articles.

The only one which made me laugh was this typo. グールラビット (Ghoul Rabbit) クールラビット (Cool Rabbit)

    • Apologies for making you get this magazine for nothing. :( And thank you for the effort! By the way, recently I got DS-3 volumes 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 + a special gameboy edition.  Possibily it has some interesting stuff about Dracula Densetsu/Akumajou Densetsu.

    • This is in the reach of the expectation, so I'm not disappointed.

I'm looking forward to your new article.

  • Hi Kiyuhito,

Do you perhaps know where I could find the Japanese version of Sypha's true ending from Judgment? I couldn't find it anywhere. I wanted to check it to see if a theory of mine works.

    • Thank you for the picture and taking the time to transcribe it!

It seems the Japanese version also mentions a young woman who was executed as a witch. I was wondering if this person was Lisa. But maybe it's just a coincidence.

    • You're welcome :)

I believe that "a woman" is Lisa.
