I just wanted to let you know we opened a new Discord server for the wiki and I thought you might be interested in joining. You can find an invitation link either on the main page or via the Discord widget.
I was wondering if you know how I can contact the other admin, Kiyuhito? I really need his help. I'm not sure if he has read my message to him yet or not; maybe he has, but I haven't gotten a response from him in a while. Perhaps he's busy, not sure.
He did mention he was busy lately. You were looking for Konami magazine issues from 2002 onwards, right? I do know a website where they auction those magazines. Though I don't know if there are any auctions for it right now. But you could always keep an eye on it and see if they pop up. Would you like me to tell you?
Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm actually not looking to purchase the magazines. Rather, to find out if they cover or even mention any of the Contra titles. As Kiyuhito is busy, I totally understand and don't mind waiting until he's able to respond. He has most/all of them, so I'm sure he'd be ok to check the later issues if he had a chance.
I just wanted to see if you could help me fix an infobox template in the Jem wiki.
If you visit an episode article (like this one for example), you'll notice that the video contained in the infobox is pushed to the right. This is the template for the episode infobox and I, for the life of me and with the one-brain cell God gave me, can't figure out how to make the video display centered, or better yet, to fit the infobox's horizontal size.
Could you pretty please (with sugar on top) help me in fixing it?
I think now I know what's the problem. Whoever made the episodes' articles in the Jem wiki, added the episodes from YouTube. However, that must have been a long time ago and since then all episodes have been removed from YT, leaving just an old thumbnail where the videos should be inside the infoboxes; that must be the reason why they don't get centered via the infobox's code.
If you look at a song article (like this one), you'll notice the video displays correctly centered inside its respective infobox.
Hi Nagumo, how have you been? I hope the Bloodstained wiki is doing alright.
I was wondering if you think this "Back to Top" button could be implemented into the wiki. I believe it would help us (well, at least me) much when editing individual sections in long pages, avoiding having scroll up and down several times.
If someone prefers not to have this button for whatever reason, please leave a message here.
Well, adding it seems simple enough. It requires editing the MediaWiki:Common.js but I don't seem to have permission to edit it for some reason despite being admin. Chernabogue might have acces to it since he has a higher rank.
Okay, it appears the MediaWiki:Common.js is editable again. I added the code, although not really knowing what I was doing, nor where to put it correctly.
Up until now, I haven't seen any changes, the "Back to Top" button doesn't appear yet. Additionally, something about needing it to be "reviewed" appeared in the box to the right, so I sent it to be reviewed (whatever that means).
Would you give it a look too, please, and maybe fix it if I messed up.
A few moments ago I started a poll to see if you'd like Dialogue Tables to appear within articles or in a separate sub-page, and I would also love to hear your opinion. Come visit the main thread HERE and make your voice be heard! XD
First of all, I want to tell you I really enjoy a lot reading your articles (Adventure and Pachislot I). Sorry for the grammar corrections, it's just that my browser's spellcheck points them out. :P
I wanted to ask you if you could fill in the blanks in Pachislot I's infobox (Media, Director, Designer and Modes). I've never played a pachislot or pachinko in my life, so I wouldn't even know if two-player modes could exist.
Thanks both of you for your replies. If the Director and Designer (or other credits, in general) can't be found, at least Media and Modes should suffice for now.
I've also tried to look for some info regarding voice actors in a few Japanese pages. Unfortunately, most of them have the exact same info. Also, my browser sometimes displays scrambled characters in some pages (even though I've installed all fonts necessary), and Windows Update wants to... uh... update; something I REALLY HATE to do! :P
And Google Translate... well... you know how incoherent that thing can be. Just for fun, here's part of one translation I found in a forum that talked about a guy who died crushed while riding an elevator:
Yesterday 15:13 Chow call: JIN Zhu Xi on the 13th Jinjiang inn, a person is caught in the elevator.
Reporter Zhu Yan Yan Feng verification reports: accident was a passenger, the specific location on the second floor elevator.
2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Wei Xiaolong and two colleagues in a hostel to send this item has been cleaned.
"We sent him to the second floor of the elevator, the elevator is still above the layers of dragons in the elevator waiting, we're outta here." Two colleagues, one of Chen Zhifu recalls.
Hotels Kyi said the manager, heard the news, ran and saw a man lying in the elevator, the elevator door shut, then she no longer dared to read.
"After the elevator door opened, this man into the elevator, and then get out of bed sheets, waiting for him to go in when the body entered into the half, the elevator suddenly rose ......"
On the second floor the elevator and did not see the "maintenance ......" this note.
"This paper should be posted up after the accident, if you know the elevator maintenance, we stupid ah, dare to take the elevator."
Learned from the City Hospital, Wei Xiaolong was 120 receiving hospital, directly taken to the morgue.
(P.S.: The "layers of dragons" line is my favorite part. XD)
